Authentic Jamaican dishes. Traditional jerk chicken or tender goat curry seem to be at the top of our customer list thus far but, in truth, almost any selection from our menu or frequently updated specials list will have your taste buds dancing to a new, more exotic tune.
For first-timers we've introduced a special Jamaican Platter, full of such flavoursome temptations as codfish and buttered beans, barbecued chicken wings, sweet potato chips and plaintain, while our vegetarians are always well catered to. We also feature traditional British staples.
Our staff are friendly and efficient and, although the main restaurant is non-smoking as befits our family atmosphere, we do have smoking facilities inside our heated winter-canopy, just off the main area.
With North Street fast becoming one of the places to visit in Bristol, Quba Ice offers diners that little something extra. Complimenting our diverse and eclectic menu we have a full and extensive range of wines, all reasonably priced (most are between £10-£15). We also offer a full English Breakfast each day of the week, a proper Sunday Lunch and an express lunch time menu.
The restaurant can seat up to 100 with parties, groups and families all catered to, while those who'd like to sample the atmosphere over a chilled drink in the bar are equally welcome, particularly in the summer season when we will have added our external continental decking to further enhance a relaxed, cafe-style feel.
